We Have Recertified Our Carbon Neutral Status!
“It has never been more important for businesses to step up and take account of the environmental impact associated with their operations.” – Carbon Neutral Britain
Delicious Ideas aligns strongly with Carbon Neutral Britain’s statement – our company ethos embraces our responsibility to protect our planet. As such, since 2022 we have actively taken steps to reduce and offset our climate impact. We are yet again proud to announce that we have achieved Carbon Neutral status.
Each year, we collaborate with Carbon Neutral Britain to audit all Green House Gas (GHG) emissions throughout our supply chain. This process covers our scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions to produce a comprehensive carbon emissions report, which can be found here. This emissions report is the perfect tool for us to analyse where we can further reduce our impact on the planet.
Included in the emissions report is our total carbon emissions, the value of which we then use as the basis for our emissions offsetting.
We offset our emissions through the Carbon Neutral Britain Woodland Fund™ – internationally certified carbon offsetting projects. These projects, which total over 350 worldwide, are all audited and approved via the United Nations CER, Verra, and Gold Standard Mechanisms – all of which are the largest, most regulated offsetting standards in the world. This ensures that all measurements are accurate, most crucially of which is the tonnage of CO2e offset from these projects. You can find out more about these projects here.
An incredible example of the projects our carbon offsetting funds is the Blue Carbon Mangrove Restoration – the first verified blue carbon project in the world, representing a holistic approach to environmental stewardship. Spanning over 350,000 hectares in the Indus River Delta Region of Sindh, south-eastern Pakistan, this project is expected to remove approximately 142 million tonnes of CO2e from the atmosphere, marking a significant contribution to global climate mitigation efforts.

Our commitment to building a sustainable tomorrow has been a core philosophy behind our business for years and will continue to be for many more to come. From identifying areas in which we can implement new innovations to aid in our reduction of carbon emissions, to championing brands that share our commitment to sustainability. And at the heart of this ethos is our vital work with Carbon Neutral Britain to analyse and offset our emissions.
We could not be more proud to yet again achieve Carbon Neutral status and will continue to build upon our ongoing commitment to being a force for good, both environmentally and socially!
