“In 2003, Duncan Goose was inspired to make a change in the world after seeing a picture in The Guardian of a girl in Nairobi, sitting by a padlocked tap. Because of this photo, Duncan quit his job, re-mortgaged his house and focused 100% of his time on launching an ethical brand that would donate its profits to funding clean water projects. Two years later, One Water and The One Foundation were born.”

We do this by creating a product range that is 100% recyclable and carbon neutral. Not only are we a certified carbon neutral business, we also have a long history of using recycled and lighter weight materials in our packaging – our plastic range is soon to be made from 100% recycled plastic instead of 51% and our aluminium bottles are made from 100% recycled aluminium.”

One Water’s Latest Charity Awareness Campaign: ‘Do ONE Good Thing’
“Our latest campaign is called ‘Do ONE Good Thing’ and focuses on celebrating the wonderful people in the UK who have done ONE Good Thing – a small, random act of kindness, or a seemingly unimportant act that really brightened someone’s day.”
“This is a reflection of how we go about achieving our mission to beat global water poverty – we know we can’t do this overnight so instead, we help ONE person, ONE day at a time. We are asking people to nominate someone and tell us the good thing they have done on our social media channels. We will be rewarding four consumers (one each week of February) with a lovely prize, including spa days, fancy dinners and treat boxes!”
