So, tell us about the new bar

We’re always getting feedback to understand what consumers want. Poring over ten thousand reviews tells me exactly what people love and more importantly what they don’t love. This new bar addresses those pain points, and it pushes the features Misfits has become known for even further.

 

Why settle when you can have it all? We’ve reduced fats and calories, but kept the good stuff like protein and fibre.

 

What are your favourite things about them?

I wanted to create a WOW moment which makes someone question whether the nutritional values are real. How can it taste like this and be high in protein, low in sugar and be vegan?

 

Do you have any new flavours?

There were some hero skus we couldn’t live without but staring us right in the face was the lack of nutty indulgence. Our fans have been crying out for a Peanut Butter bar for years, but it needed a knock-out texture to go with it. Peanut Butter Fudge combines roasted peanut and caramel flavour notes with our new fudgy base, and it was an instant hit with our research.

 

Is it the same target audience?

If you already buy Misfits bars, then you’re going to love these. But we believe this is also a snack bar for the next generation, that want to have it all – taste, indulgence, protein, low sugar – without the impact on planet. We truly believe this will be a mass-market product and shouldn’t be pigeon-holed in protein bars.
