BEPPS meets DIFG

BEPPS is founded by female entrepreneur Eve Yankah who was inspired by her then 4-year-old daughter to produce a healthier, more inclusive crisp for children to enjoy.  Using black eyed peas as the main ingredient, a food Eve herself grew up eating during her childhood, Eve produced our award-winning pea popped snacks in a range of delicious flavours.

BEPPS are gluten free and coeliac friendly, low-calorie snacks made from the key ingredient, black eyed peas.  Black eyed peas are like other peas, pulses, and grains such as lentils, chickpeas, quinoa, and fava beans; but in several ways, they’re more superior!  They make a great meat alternative protein for vegetarians & vegans, with over 25g of protein per 100g – that’s more than lentils, chickpeas & potatoes!  BEPPS pea popped snacks are also low in saturated fat and high in fibre.

At BEPPS, we have a brand ethos of ‘Peas With Purpose’.  Our mission is to not only deliver delicious, healthy, low calorie and clean snacks for everyone to enjoy, but we also want to have a positive impact on our local and international communities, in partnership with the charities we support.  We are honoured to work with St. Nicholas Mission Academy Primary School in Ghana who are helping to alleviate poverty by providing free education to 140 children who would otherwise go without.  BEPPS sponsors several amazing children to ensure they receive the best education and health care possible, and recently contributed considerably towards the school’s first school bus, allowing kids who live further away from the school to get the education they deserve and a meal every day.

On top of that, BEPPS donates thousands of packs of snacks to food banks across London.
